Teen Travel (7th, 8th & 9th Graders) Summer Camp near 08875
At our Oak Crest location in 08875, New Jersey, 7th, 8th, and 9th-grade students participate in our engaging Teen Travel Program. This program allows teen campers to not only enjoy Oak Crest activities but also venture out on day and overnight trips. 7th graders attend camp on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, reserving Tuesdays and Thursdays for day trips. Conversely, 8th and 9th graders attend camp on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with travel days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Additionally, teens have the option to partake in 2- or 3-day overnight trips.
At our New Jersey location with the 08875 area code, our teen campers at Camp follow a well-structured group schedule. They are organized into groups of 10-15 campers, closely supervised by thoroughly screened counselors. The daily schedule comprises two free swim sessions, various activities including the Climbing Tower and Ropes Courses, a variety of athletic and creative pursuits, and two Choice periods. These Choice periods grant teens the freedom to select their preferred activities, enabling them to explore a wide range of options by choosing a new activity during each Choice period.
At our New Jersey location with the 08875 area code, we prioritize safety for our teens, both on and off the camp premises. When outside the camp, our Teen Travel campers strictly adhere to Oak Crest Travel Protocols for Safety. Every Teen Travel camper and their parents are required to sign our Teen Travel Behavior Contract. Similar to other divisions within the camp, both the 7th Grade Teen Travel and the 8th & 9th Grade Teen Travel Programs are overseen by an adult Division Head, responsible for the division’s supervision during camp activities and accompanying them on day and overnight trips. Our Teen Staff undergoes specialized training to effectively supervise campers in public spaces and address the unique challenges associated with early adolescence.
